Welcome
2020: Thoughts on the Year of COVID-19
In early March, Jane and I returned from our usual winter holiday. Four days later, BC asked everyone who had just returned to the country to begin self-isolating for 14 days. This began the eventual shutdown of many businesses, which included both Vancouver locations where I display my art; “AOM” at Commercial Drive and Charles Street, and “Stock Home Design” on Broadway and Balaclava. A few weeks later, Whistler Market, where I have sold my art for over 10 years, announced that only farmers would be allowed to have booths this season.
The great thing about art, even when there are no sales, is that the MUSE doesn’t go away. Hence, I have been very busy over the last several months. I have completed five – 48” horizontal paintings, which are now featured on this website.
Now that BC is in the reopening phase, I am back to painting at “Stock Home Design”. I am normally there on Friday or Saturday afternoons. I also continue to work at my studio in Vancouver at Barclay and Bute, which is open by appointment. (Please phone 604-309-6874)
